Shipping fresh meats, cheeses, prepared foods and other specialty Italian products requires careful packaging and temperature control. We package each order according to the type of food being shipped and stand behind products that arrive damaged, incorrectly shipped or unsafe to use.
Eligible non-perishable pantry products may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. Products must be unused, unopened and in their original factory-sealed packaging.
Examples of eligible products may include unopened factory-sealed olive oil, pasta, canned tomatoes and other shelf-stable pantry goods.
Approved returns of eligible non-perishable products may be brought to one of our Frank & Sal retail locations during normal business hours.
Please contact us before visiting the store and bring your order confirmation or proof of purchase. The product must be unopened, unused and in its original factory-sealed packaging.
In-store returns are subject to inspection. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within five business days. Online purchases are not refunded in cash at the store.
Fresh meats, cheeses, prepared foods, frozen products and other perishable items cannot be returned after delivery because they cannot safely be placed back into inventory.
Please inspect all perishable products as soon as the package is delivered. Contact us immediately if an item arrives damaged, incorrectly shipped, with a broken vacuum seal or in a condition that may be unsafe.

After reviewing the information, Frank & Sal may provide an appropriate replacement or refund. Please do not mail or bring perishable food back to one of our stores unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
The 30-day return period for eligible pantry products does not apply to perishable-food shipping or quality claims. Problems involving perishable products must be reported immediately after delivery.
Contact Frank & Sal before mailing or bringing back any product. Include your order number, the name of the affected item and the reason for the return.
When reporting damage or a problem with a perishable shipment, include photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label. Shipping damage involving fresh, refrigerated or frozen products must be reported immediately after delivery.
