How does Frank & Sal handle shipping and returns?

Shipping specialty items like our handmade Lasagna, fresh Braciole, and dry-aged Salumi requires a strict cold chain. We manage every shipment to ensure the food arrives at your door at the correct temperature with vacuum seals fully intact. This professional handling is why we stand behind every shipment for 7 days.

The 7-Day Freshness Guarantee

You have 7 days from the delivery date to inspect your order. We handle returns based on the specific nature of the food to maintain safety standards:

Fresh Meats and Cheeses (Perishables)
For food safety, perishables cannot be shipped back once they leave our controlled environment. If an item arrives with a broken vacuum seal or the coolant has failed, do not ship it back. Take a photo of the product and the shipping label immediately and email us. We will issue a refund or replacement.
Pantry Goods (Oil, Pasta, Tomatoes)
Non-perishable dry goods can be returned within 7 days if the factory seal is unopened. For these items, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs to our warehouse. We do not charge restocking fees for returned pantry items.
