Lasagna Reheating

Lasagna - Storage & Reheating Instructions

Upon Arrival & Storage

Your lasagna is flash-frozen to lock in freshness and is shipped in an insulated box. It's normal for the dry ice to have dissipated during transit.

  • As long as the lasagna arrives cool to the touch, it is perfectly safe.
  • Immediately place it in the refrigerator or freezer upon receipt.
  • Your lasagna can be stored for up to 5 days in the refrigerator or for up to 1 month in the freezer.

Reheating for Perfect Results

For the best taste and texture, we recommend thawing the lasagna before baking. Always use a conventional oven.

  1. Thaw (Recommended): For the most even baking, thaw the lasagna in your refrigerator for 24 hours.
  2. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Prepare for Baking: Remove the plastic lid. Cover the aluminum tray tightly with a layer of foil. This prevents the top from burning while the center heats through.
  4. Bake: Place the tray on a baking sheet in the center of the oven.
    • If Thawed, bake for 30-40 minutes.
    • If baking from Frozen, bake for 60-90 minutes.
  5. Check & Brown: Carefully remove the foil. The lasagna is ready when the center is hot and bubbly (a thermometer should read 165°F). For a golden, bubbly cheese top, bake uncovered for the final 10 minutes.
  6. Rest & Serve: This is a crucial step! Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the layers to set, making it much easier to serve.

⚠️ Important Safety Notice

For food safety and best quality, we do not recommend thawing lasagna on the countertop. The aluminum tray is NOT microwave-safe.
