Why can't I ship perishables to a PO Box?Perishable items, including fresh foods like pizza dough, should be unpacked and refrigerated quickly after delivery. PO Boxes are often located in unrefrigerated facilities, so we require a physical address for perishable shipments.
How do you pack perishable items?We use insulated liners and cold packs selected for the product and the expected transit window. Our goal is to protect freshness while the package is in transit.
Can I request a specific delivery date?Yes. If you are planning for an event or have a special request, please contact us directly at 718 966 7400 so we can coordinate the timing of your shipment.
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that perishable items must be unpacked and refrigerated immediately upon delivery. We are not responsible for spoilage if a package is left unattended for an extended period after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
Scheduling: We monitor transit times closely to avoid weekend delays where packages might sit in a sorting facility. Orders placed late in the week may be held until the following Monday to help ensure the fastest possible delivery.
