Creamy, Full-Flavored Decaf

Caffe Gioia's decaffeinated blend brings a creamy body and full espresso flavor to the cup, with sweetness and acidity in balance. Enjoy it as a small espresso or make it the base of your favorite cappuccino or latte.

Keep a box beside your machine for an after-dinner espresso or the guest who always asks for decaf. Individually wrapped portions let you prepare one cup at a time without opening a larger bag of ground coffee.

Roasted and Packed in Italy

Caffe Gioia produces its coffee in Campania, southern Italy. The coffee arrives ground and portioned inside filter paper, taking grinding and measuring out of your routine.

Before You Brew

Which espresso machines take these pods?

Use an espresso machine designed to accept 44 mm ESE paper pods. ESE stands for Easy Serving Espresso. Some espresso machines use a dedicated ESE filter basket; check your machine's instructions before ordering.

Do these work in Nespresso or Keurig machines?

No. These are flat ESE paper pods, not Nespresso Original capsules, Vertuo capsules, or Keurig K-Cups. The formats are not interchangeable.

Is this coffee completely caffeine-free?

No. Caffe Gioia specifies a caffeine content of no more than 0.10% for this blend. Decaffeinated does not mean zero caffeine.

How do I prepare an ESE pod?

Open the individual wrapper and leave the paper filter intact. Place one pod in your machine's ESE holder and brew according to the machine's instructions. Serve the espresso on its own, or add steamed milk for a cappuccino or latte.

How should I store the pods?

Keep the sealed packets in a cool, dry place, away from heat and moisture. Open each packet when you are ready to brew.
